A positive approach to presenting

The people I train are normally looking for two things: to feel more comfortable presenting and to be better at it.

They often come with a clear idea of what they’d like to stop doing (talking too fast, going blank, not connecting with their audience) but are less clear about the kind of presenter they’d like to be. What would make them enjoy presenting?

Our starting point is simple. What does ‘good’ look like for you? From there, we’ll look at a range of simple, practical tools to make you feel more in control, more grounded, more able to connect with your audience - in a ‘confidently authentic’ way.

We might cover…

  • Managing nerves

  • Identifying your strengths as a presenter

  • Feeling more grounded and present in front of people

  • Creating a more conversational and interactive dynamic

  • Using visual aids effectively

  • Storytelling techniques to make your message more ‘sticky’

  • Using pauses to increase clarity and authority

  • Dealing effectively with questions and challenge
